This spa is "grand" in every way, but especially in eye appeal and performance. The Grand Cayman sports attractive lines that are very inviting to the spa user who is looking for the comfort and relaxation of hydrotherapy. The ergonomically designed seats literally encase the body, and all of the jets are strategically placed to massage the varied trigger points of the body, from the neck to the feet. This spa is designed to easily accommodate six people, but its open seating plan has proven to be both versatile and expandable.

  • The “spa within a spa” design serves to increase bather capacity and prevent spillover. It is nearly impossible in many spas to accommodate a large bather load. The water rises, causing the water to spill over and also causes lack of filtration when the water rises above the filter. The Island line features a Spa Within a Spa design that allows for several spa users while maintaining continuous filtration without water loss. The features that work together to make this possible are: First, a lip or catch bin below the actual edge of the spa prevents spillover, and second, an added 5 inches of height to the top of the filter maintains filtration when the water level rises.
  • The bottom drain in every spa allows the spa to be completely drained by simply opening a valve ­ without removing any part of the cabinet. Only a spa owner can understand the profound value of having a bottom drain in your spa. And while it may seem like a simple addition, installing a bottom drain requires a significant enhancement to the spa support structure as well as requiring a full ABS bottom to protect the plumbing. But this little innovation will save you "buckets" of time when you are ready to change the water in your spa. Simply attach the drain valve to a garden hose, turn it to open, and your spa will be totally emptied of water with no work on your part!
  • The use of switchless motors insures the longest pump life of any spa on the market. Our Switchless Motors drive high-water-volume pumps that are long-lasting and virtually trouble free. The switchless motor design does not require a mechanical switch to take it from the start position, which greatly increases the efficiency of the motor. An added bonus to all of the other great features of the switchless motor is this design requires from 10 to 16 fewer parts than a conventional motor, which means many components have been eliminated that sometimes create problems. The life of our switchless motor can be measured in tens of years instead of hundreds of hours.
  • Ground-breaking Helix jets deliver deep muscle penetration for an effective massage.
  • The unique Helix design delivers an active massage even through static jets. The Island Spa line features a revolutionary breakthrough in hydrotherapy jetting with patented Helix design; a three-dimensional, double-spiral form. This new jet, aptly named the Helix, has been designed to provide a truly remarkable hydro-massage exclusive to Artesian Spas. Engineered from the concept of the double helix, the jets use a right-directional spiral on the inside of the cylinder. This causes water to spiral out in a twisting manner, providing jet pulsation and massaging pressure. The two largest Helix jets, named ProHelix, provide a high volume of water to massage large muscles in the body. The midsize Helix, called TheraHelix, is strategically placed in small groups in the spa to massage muscles such as calf, hamstring, deltoids, biceps, and triceps. The smallest Helix jet, the AccuHelix, is placed in large groupings to massage larger regions of the body, such as the entire back. As a complete system, four to five different sizes of Helix jets are featured in every Island Spa model.
  • Full foam insulation is used between the cabinet and the shell for optimum heat retention and unparalleled plumbing security. Combined with our high density solid state spa covers, full foam insulation works to ensure the highest rate of heat retention available in any spa. But that is not all! Full Foam insulation offers a host of other benefits such as a stronger spa structure and less wear on the plumbing welds.
  • Valves are used to move water between seats, and each jet is individually controlled, allowing for complete water and massage control.

  • Ozonator with optional Propure mixing chamber: Ozone oxidizes soap, deodorant, hair spray, cologne, makeup, perfume, body lotion, hand cream, sun tan lotion, saliva and urine. In addition, ozone kills all pathogenic bacteria, germs and viruses. Ozone takes care of the big job of oxidizing all these organic contaminants. Ozone frees up the combined chlorine, thus leaving the chlorine free to provide a residual.
  • Aqua Symphony Stereo System: With your own Island spa in your back yard, total escape is within easy reach every day. An Island Aquatic Symphony stereo system is the perfect addition to complete your luxurious retreat. Now, while your muscles are being soothed to a state of abandon, the sounds from your stereo system will lift your heart and soul. You will appreciate one of our marine-grade, state-of-the-art surround systems, complete with a powerful subwoofer. These weather-tight, MP3 Adapter-ready systems are available with cabinet-mounted patio speakers, as well as optional LCD wired remote control and floating remote. We have the sound for you at the price you need. Also the optional Dolphin floating remote is perfect for the spa user who wants to control every aspect of the Island spa with one device. This programmable remote can be used to operate the pumps, lights and all stereo functions; and, in addition, it is compatible with many home entertainment systems.
  • 20" Cascade: The new optional 20-inch Cascade water feature, now available on all Island Spas with the exception of the Bimini model, adds a beautiful, soothing touch to your Island. The LED lighting creates a stunning “curtain of light” as the water cascades into the spa. This waterfall, which has adjustable water control, flows over and down the filter area.
  • L.E.D. Lighting Systems: The right lighting can add the perfect touch to your spa experience, and Island Spas’ LED lighting systems are designed to set the mood. Our ten-function system leaps to life with a touch of the button on the spa control pad. Each touch washes the water with up to five different colored lights and allows the user to stop on any one of the preferred colors. Scroll further with the control button, and you will discover a multi-colored adventure with each new touch.
